My muse has seen somebody they used to know, and bad memories are coming back. They go to your muse for comfort

“—….” A single sweat drop trailed down ivory skin, lips trembling. Heart aching. Why, why couldn’t his fucking day be happy for once? Why couldn’t memory lane stay were it was meant to be? Why did horrible memories have to come crawling back to the blonde’s cranium, embedding itself into the dark corners of his mind. The scene, it replayed over and over like a broken record. Its horrible sound repeating, nesting inside ears. The way that woman cheated on him, told him she never loved him, only wanted his fortune that never was inherited to him in the first place when he abandoned such an old life style.
Never love for who he was, that knife stung and stabbed him deeper, the crimson liquid pouring and pouring, dripping down old and now reopened wounds. Digging fingers into jacket, the digits trembling as they shook. The aching feeling in heart not faltering in the slightest, it appeared lips parted to speak. Nothing escaped, only heavy breathes. Then, it happened. The voice that haunted his being, everything, Now whispered itself into hearing appendages.
“I never loved you.”
“Did you actually think that?”
“You naive lion cub, just a cub.”
Harsh word’s nesting themselves into eardrums, the heavy breathing increasing. Little noises escaping between lips. Someone just rip his fucking heart out, this feeling was never meant to return. Just please turn the lights off, he couldn’t take it anymore. Biting down on lower lip, swallowing a lump that felt like shards of glass down throat. No words, silence was between the two. The lion, the king was injured. Pride shattering, everything fell apart.
“—She, I..I..” It burns, just to think and speak of that monster. Head hung low, what appeared to be..no its not possible. Tears? Shedding a single tear, it dripped onto the floor before the breakdown occurred.
”..How do I know you love me?”
I never loved you.
Did you actually think that?
”..Am I naive?” Golden’s orbs formed water, as it rolled down face. Pulling hood over head, he needed to hide. The frightened kitten, scared and conflicted of its surroundings. Who to trust, who not to trust, was the kitty supposed to do? Concealing facial features, the lion just dug his head into the bull’s shoulder, clenching tightly onto her. This was a side of him almost no one ever got to witness. Finally, his voice spoke although it cracked.

”..Please tell me you love me, please say its not a lie..p-please..”
Meow little kitten meow, its all you’ll ever do.
