An Endless World | The Walking Dead!AU

A year since the apocalypse happened. Three months since she’s been separated between her brother and her lover. Surviving in a world that close to its end was laborious but she had to keep fighting. Giving up was the last option and knowing how her tenacious actions can be; the mission was to stay alive.

Her reason to fight: her loved ones. She wasn’t going to leave this world without an avenge.

Endless thoughts began to scattered away once a walker began to roar behind her. With cat like actions, the girl grabbed her sword and chopped its neck; the head doing a complete three sixty and falling onto the ground. Suddenly, the female dropped to the ground. The food she had on the road was completely gone  four days without any type of nourishment within her body started to take a huge toll on her.

Digits began to quiver in a rapid pace, not sure how much energy she had left in her system. Breathing began to become quite heavy; miles and miles since she made her last pit stop. Another group that she aligned herself with was outnumbered, leaving her the last survivor. Of course, this wasn’t the first time. Many groups that she has been with have not made or separated.

Just like Cameron and Lance. Her older brother and the love of her life. The rest of their siblings; who knew about their whereabouts? The three of them had stood together for so long that partition was something that Tabitha wasn’t used too. In fact, her biggest fear was being alone. Now, here she was. Conquering her fear day by day, knowing that any of these days could be her last.

Upon resting on the floor, she heard footsteps along the grass. Oh great, another walker. The energy that she used on the last zombie annihilated her body  hence why she was on the ground. However, the sounds weren’t bolted out of its lips. Instead, a soft voice came out. An actual human being was right beside her trying to examined her.

Words were not easily said, due to the lack of stamina within her physique. Phalanges were contacted on her body and soon enough, she was up from the ground. Oculars tried open a bit to examine the male who had rescued her. However, blurred visions were all she could see. “T-Thank you…” Finally, she spoke before letting out a hard cough.

To think, three hundred and sixty five day’s had passed since it all began.

When the dead raised alive, yet not alive at all. The deceased walking, devouring all in range of their blood thirsty eyes. The screams of their victims not phasing them in the slightest. They were truly monsters, no symphony nor compassion.  The world everyone took the world for granted. You were lucky just to eat, to have the rotten oxygen crept into your lungs, nor longer in its purest form. Like its your last time breathing.

Life or death was a constant choice everyday. Family, friends, comrades. Choosing your companions had to be done wisely, or it could leave you for dead in the end. Others stay strong, other’s give in and resort to drastic measures.

Not Lance, no. Being put in charge, responsibilities kicked in, you were in charge of lives, not just your own. It wasn’t an easy task either. Especially when you couldn’t save someone you cared about the most. A girl in their group got separated someone of great important to the blonde. It’s been days, maybe even weeks. Honestly he forgot what day it was, time didn’t exist in the world they had to live in today. It hurt, losing her. The chance’s of her being alive were one to none.

Heh, not like she’d survive anyway. That would be to much luck for Lance, after all it seemed like the universe just loved stabbing him repeatedly. Sweat trailed down ivory skin, the harsh ray’s of the sun beaming down onto the male's physique. Sweating was the least of his worries, a single hand on hip, the male began giving orders and commands to the people of the camp.

“–Alright, you go look for supplies, and someone needs to take inventory, Cameron should be back soon.”

Speak of the devil, there he was. And with someone they didn’t know, some they didn’t know if they could put their faith in our trust. Ever since the disappearance of Tabitha, he's been colder towards other people lately. “And who’s this?” He asked in an emotionless tone, arms crossed. Not quite to happy that Cameron brought someone here.
