An apology? Of all things to expect that wasn’t one of them. You could see on his face that he was taken back by that. Golden orbs widened, before blinking. Arm’s still crossed, a chuckle passed through lips as he gave his response. “We all have our pride, and apologizing to me i’m impressed with that.” He could be a dick and deny that apology, but he would decide to be the bigger person for now and accept it.
Just because he forgave, didn’t mean he would forget.
