“Do you have any better ideas?” That may of came off as sarcastic, but Leo was actually curious if he did or not. They were stuck in a tight spot and not many options were available. “From the looks of it, thats the only way we’re getting inside.”
Despite the archer’s words, Leo failed to believe them. It was all his fault for giving her that burn mark. A scar, a constant remainder of the atrocious act of violence he committed against her. Even if fear fueled those flames, it was still unforgivable. They were both fire signs, however she wasn’t cursed with anything to do with flames. Instead, he hurt her with his power, even if it was accidental.
His ashamed gaze focuses on the palm of his hand, so much power within it. Over the centuries he thought he had a grip on his fire control, guess not. Seriously, when was there ever a time his fire was used for good? The list was small.
The lion’s gaze never met hers, it felt difficult just to look her in the eyes before this happened between them. However, Lance didn’t want her to figure out something was wrong. That would only cause more problems to unfold, and hes done enough damage.
Turning his back to her, a fake smile forms. With his forced smile, an obvious lie slips past his lips. “Yeah, that’s good. I’m going to go, I.. I forgot I had something to do.”

“Melody stooooop it.” Why was everyone so obsessed with his cheeks?

“DUDE KNOCK IT OFF!!” Flashbacks of his childhood, horrible, pinch-cheeking memories. Absolute hell to deal with once again.

Isn’t amused. That cute baby face of his disappeared a long time ago (and he didn’t want it back). “Knock it off Skylar leave my cheeks alone.”

“I may, or may not of have had a thing for her when we were kids back in the day.” More like a huge crush, but he’d never admit that aloud so casually. With a shy blush coloring cheeks, he continues. “So I guess.. since the beginning? I love her to death. Grateful for her every day of my life.”
