Repeating a view commands to the pup, seemingly making the dog cease from the excitement and even become much more friendly with the child. Thank the stars for dog training classes, without that this rascal would be jumping off the walls and definitely scaring the little one.
Kneeling down to the height of the blond, she’d smile before extending her hand out while the other patted Sparky’s head. A quick glance to view the other shadows walking amongst them, shrugging it off she would continue to pay attention
“Hey, it’ll be okay. What’s your name? I’ll help you–”
Something about this woman relaxed him, slowly relieving all the tension he was feeling. Only his little sister managed to do that, and it had been such a long time since she had, for reasons he didn’t want to think about, but couldn’t forget.
Seeing the pinkette kneel in front of him, he looked up at her momentarily, noticing just how willing she was to help him out. A tiny smile broke through his timid frown. Than, the young blonde shyly took ahold of her hand as he slowly stood up.
Sparky had to desperately go to the bathroom. A dire need to urinate apparently. Due to this, she would take him along the path to her store to acquire her groceries. It took her awhile to get all she needed, but most of it was a change of pace from normal junk food. Well, three bags of chips and actual ingredients to make a chicken dinner.
A sudden jolt as she finally walked with Sparky caused her to stop and the dog to bark at the child. Optics would widen, easily noticing the visage of the kid. It was all too familiar. It was her big brother, well, little now.
“Ah, hello… It’s okay. Are you okay?”
Hearing an abrupt bark, his golden eyes widened in slight fear. Lance loved animals, however dogs sometimes intimidated him. They weren’t as easy to read as cats, they were much more energetic and unreadable in his eyes. Swallowing a lump stuck in his throat, he looked up at the female than back at the dog.
Crouching down to the floor Leo shyly faced the dog. Not extending a hand out just yet in fear of being bit. His response to her was a bit delayed, but nonetheless the young lion replied in a low, unsure tone.
He had a horrible sense of direction, didn’t he? Being lost wasn’t fun. The little lion sighed softly to himself, a little nervous being alone. He didn’t recognize any of his current surroundings, and almost began to feel hopeless.
Wondering aimlessly, the child accidentally bumped into a stranger, his golden eyes darting up to look at them.
“I’m ready– I’m actually really excited.” Usually going out was not her forte, but anything with her big brother was always better than all else.
“Good! I want to make your birthday really special.” all those wasted years would no longer be wasted, Leo was going to give her an awesome birthday this time. No more sickness getting in the way.
As soon as a knock was heard, little Sparky would immediately start to bark at the front door. With a sigh, she’d bend down to pet the pup before turning the knob to see the other sign. A flash of fur would run out the doorway to greet the large male. He may have not been a dog-man, but Sparky would love anyone whom Scorpio admired.
“Of course– Come on in.”
Letting Lance enter, she’d go outside herself to grab the pesky pet to bring him back in, shutting the door behind her. With a gesture to the couch, a small grin would finally be shown. It was exciting to teach someone else how to sing, especially if you, yourself, were self-taught. It feel accomplishing.
Hearing the little dog’s barks was quite amusing – albeit a little annoying but still cute. Once the door bolted open, the furry creature ran right up to the him, excited and wagging his tail in joy. With a grin forming Lance crouches down, extending his hand out and petting the dog. He was growing on him one day at a time.
Entering her home, the lion noticed the girl’s gesture to the couch and sat down on it, returning the small she gave to him. He was nervous, but was unsure if she could spot this minor detail or not. Leo didn’t want to make a fool of himself, if he end up not singing well.
“So, how does singing work? Like I’ve sang a few times but not really s-seriously..”
Being the ambitious person he is, Lance wanted to try and master yet another talent. Singing could go well with piano playing, and his little seemed like the perfect person to go too. After all she was extremely gifted in that department.
Agreeing to have him over, the lion knocks outside the door of her home. Once she opens the door, he appears a little shy while truthfully he was just excited.
Perhaps she was blinded by her big brother’s toughness, that she may not have seen his more sensitive side. He was in so much pain, she could tell quite easily, a familiar emotion she knew too well. But the curiosity of what is he afraid of got the best of her. “Of what?”
“I don’t want to worry you Melody, I can handle it myself.” Lance could try to do that, but it’ll all come tumbling down eventually. He didn’t like to make his friends and loved ones worry, it would only cause more problems, which he wanted to avoid. “I know smoking isn’t the best option, but it helps me.”
