a finger raises to his lips to shush the other, his other arm being occupied by a sleeping lena, who had finally fallen asleep for her nap. with his luck even the smallest noise would wake his precious daughter and turn her into satan. a hushed shrug heard as he looks over at the other, bags under eyes.
It was getting quite late, but with his chores done, the child would rather explore the field of clovers in the local park and test his luck. Naive, he was, not to believe it was abnormal for a child to be out alone this late.
Taking one of his daily afternoon walks in the park , Lance was surprised to see a young child by himself. How irresponsible. Who’d leave a kid by themselves? Getting close, the lion crouches down to be at eye level with the child. “Hey kiddo, the sun setting it’s not safe to be outside.”
